"To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.” ~ Lewis B. Smedes

For so many it seems impossible to truly forgive someone and move on....

Forgiving yourself and others can be very difficult sometimes: especially if you are operating on a lower state of consciousness. Realize that in order to rise up, advance, and become a more conscious person, you must be compassionate and forgiving towards yourself and others. Any hateful thoughts or pent up negative emotions that you may be holding need to be released. Negative thoughts and emotions can easily lower your level of consciousness if you do not practice compassion and forgiveness.

In the manifested universe, only the use of forgiveness can facilitate the transmutation of un-perfected energies. The sincere pardon of your own mistakes in addition to the errors and faults of others acts as a magic gift that liberates releases and heals situations and events in the lives of all of those involved.

Without exercising forgiveness, one will not experience transformation. Without transformation, there is no evolution.

Forgiveness of others is essential to mental peace and radiant health. You must forgive everyone who has ever hurt you if you want perfect health and happiness. Forgive yourself by getting your thoughts in harmony with divine law and order. You cannot really forgive yourself completely until you have forgiven others first. It is known in the medical field that resentment, condemnation of others, remorse, and hostility are behind a host of maladies ranging from arthritis to cardiac disease. They point out that these sick people, who were hurt, mistreated, deceived, or injured, were full of resentment and hatred for those who hurt them. This caused inflamed and festering wounds in their subconscious minds, and "as above so below" "as within so without". There is only one remedy. They have to cut out and discard their hurts and the one and only sure way is by forgiveness.

To Understand all is to Forgive all

When you can understand the creative law of your mind, you will stop blaming other people and conditions for your misfortune and unhappiness. You have to accept responsibility for your own thoughts and feelings knowing that externals are not the cause of your life experiences. No one has power over you like the Bible says - "For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he" PROVERBS 23:7.

AFFIRMATION: "I AM the Law of Forgiveness of the Transforming Flame, for all the mistakes I committed, I release them now." and so it is

Intention according to The Free Dictionary it is a course of action that one intends to follow, an aim that guides action, an objective.
The starting point to fulfilling your dreams the force/energy that fulfills our needs whatever they may be, from health and love to money and of course spiritual awakening. An intention statement is a statement that talks about what one wants to do, or intends to do.

What is a Pure Intention?
Spiritually speaking pure intention taps into divine energy (versus ego energy), it is for the highest good, and it is non-competing.
Pure intentions are infused with an unconditional and clear knowing that the fulfillment of it will have a positive learning, growing and/or healing outcome for you and for all those involved, it is your next best step (or direction) towards a more fulfilling life, and that you are worthy to receive what you want to manifest. In other words it's for the best and highest good for all.
Once you create an intention, check in with yourself and see if it feels pure. Is it clear? Is it something you can put on a bumper sticker and be proud of? Do your other intentions support it? Do you feel there is a divine reason for the intention (versus ego reason)? Is it for the highest good of all concerned?  Does it feel peaceful and relaxing?

When setting Intentions they should be
  •  Meaningful to You - be true and authentic to yourself
  •   Present Tense of the End Result-   An intention is complete and directs your choices    and your energy.
  •  Expansive - Since you do not know how good it can be, do not limit yourself to what you can receive!
  •  Achievable & Believable to You - You should feel that your intention is achievable and believable for it cannot conflict with your core belief.
  • Positive - An intention is stated in the positive, or what you want, versus what you don’t want.
  • Being versus Doing- Call in Grace and Ease - Intentions include how you want to receive the manifestation of your intention.  You will be best served to use words like easily, gracefully, peacefully, naturally, joyfully, harmoniously, etc.
  • Empowering Words - Since your intention is 100% believable to you, do not use the words “always” or “never” because that is unrealistic.
  • Clear and Concise - Exactly what do you want your experience to look and feel like? The shorter, the better.  Long intentions tend to get, and keep you, in your head.

1.    Pick the length of time for your segment. It can be any length of time, but no more than an hour. You can decide exactly what time a segment will start and end, or you can simply set a new intention as you begin a new activity.

2.     Decide on your aim for that segment. It could be a list of tasks, a state of being, or both. For instance, you might decide that you will strive to remain light-heartened while you return phone calls for 30 minutes. Or it could be that you are intending to drive safely, arriving at your destination on time, refreshed, or that you will shop with grace and ease finding everything on your list, and a cashier waiting to great you! This is how I move through traffic with all greens lights, how I never wait in line for a cashier, and always drive safely!

3.     When the segment start time arrives, start your segment with no second thoughts. Put your attention solely on the tasks for that segment and nothing else.
Practice doing these segments throughout the day. Each segment is a training period for your mind, and will teach your mind to assist you in whatever you are doing. Through Segment intending you’ll find your mind becoming much more responsive to your needs as a spirit. Enjoy!

Fear: False evidence appearing real and by definition is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, and likely to cause pain, or a threat. A distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined.

Love by definition is profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person, a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend, and mankind. To want the best for you neighbor in spite of your liking him or not!

As you see Love and Fear go hand in hand, for the true opposite of love is fear. Love expands while fear shrinks. In fear you become closed while Love opens. In love one trusts while in fear there is doubt.

How do you move out of fear? By first recognizing what your fear is, perhaps it is a lack of trust that everything is going to be ok; a lack of trust that the Universe truly loves you, or a lack of trust in your own self to create positive events in your life. To release fear you must first affirm that you know and trust that you are attracting wonderful events and people into your life.

Now, how do we trust in the Universe and trust yourself? The answer is with love. Love is the most powerful energy in the Universe, and it can override all other energies. You must begin to approach each moment with love and an open heart. Follow this exercise: practice feeling love and trusting in yourself and the Universe. Send little beams of love to everyone you pass whether driving or walking by someone, while at work practice sending love to your co-workers. Answer the phone with love. Respond to requests with love. Keep practicing!

Being loving in every moment is a challenge, especially when you are around people who at the moment don’t appear to be giving love in return. These people need your love the most, as they are a reflection of where you are not being loving to yourself. Send them more love. The more love you can send, the more you will raise your vibration, initiate the Law of Attraction in the most powerful way, and create a positive force in the world.

If you can operate from a place of love more often you will feel more joyful and peaceful and attract much more love into your life, which will help raise your vibration permanently.  Remember, whatever energy you put out into the world is being reflected back to you. Our outer world is simply a mirror of our inner world.

If you observe your problems, you will notice that most of them are rooted in your mind. The basic premise is the same: some external event happens; you choose to see only one side of the story, and then interpret the situation such that it causes some form of mental conflict, resulting in some form of emotional suffering.

While it is easy to simply say, “drop your problems”, you and I both know that it is not that simple. We all have had years and years of conditioning in attracting problems and conflicts. So much so, that the simple concept of ‘stop thinking about problems’ will not be so effective you need tools that strike at the problem’s root.

Let’s try this exercise; close your eyes for a few minutes and during these minutes, send out the intention that you want silence and stillness, and you do not want to be pulled away from this silence by thoughts. (Pause your reading and go do this.)

Okay, so what happened? You probably noticed that the moment you become silent, thoughts started popping up – random and unrelated thoughts. These thoughts become a form of distraction, pulling you away from your inner silence.

This was only an experiment where you consciously observed your mind and tried to become still, but could not. Imagine the state of your inner space, while you are going about your day, unaware of the polluting in-coming thoughts.

As a result, your inner space becomes cluttered with useless information, with thoughts that are not conducive to your well-being, or expansion. Because your inner space is cluttered, your inner clarity and in-born wisdom become distant and foggy. Essentially, you've lost touch with the part of your inner self that is sacred, wise, peaceful, and eternal.

The distractions that you've  declared as urgent and important, such as watching TV, updating your Facebook and Twitter pages, checking email, etc. all pull at you. They all pull at your attention, distracting you and taking you away from things that are truly important to enlightenment, and things that will bring lasting happiness and fulfillment to your life. And whether you recognize it or not, the information that you expose yourself to, fills your inner space on some level, and affects your emotions and desires (programming which we will cover later). If you’re not careful, you may find yourself rushing through life, spending your precious time on this planet focused on that which does not matter – and then wonder where did your life go?

AFFIRMATION: “My conscious mind is at peace as I go through this day, as I am sensitive to the eternal peace of Creator’s presence within me.”

"Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others."
    ~ Cicero, ancient Roman philosopher

Gratitude is an attitude that can profoundly change your consciousness. When you live your life in gratitude, it can affect your being at a biological level, training your mind and body to live in a higher state of health and well being. It opens your heart and directs your energy to that which you love and what brings you joy, and in so magically attracts more of the same. For example: whenever I receive something I really like I say "thank you, more please!" It is a way to give and receive. The more you value and feel grateful for anything, the more there will be to feel grateful for. When you grateful you experience all the beautiful qualities you feel grateful for all over again. What you appreciate, appreciates! If you really wish to do something, bask in the energies of gratitude.

Are you grateful for everything you have presently? Are you consciously aware of the gift of life that you've been given? You should be. Do you know that for the Law of Attraction to work you must include the Law of Gratitude?

Those who lack an attitude of gratitude in their lives always seem to find themselves a little less happy, less fortunate, not having the lifestyle they wish to have. They see themselves as a product of their environment that the system is against them wondering why they can’t get ahead.

The act of gratitude is not something you do just once and you are done. Every day, remember to express gratitude for this gift, of life and all the things and experiences that you have been blessed with. Every moment of the day be observant about remaining in this attitude of gratitude. People often ask me, "How often do you pray?" Without fail, I reply, “There is never a time I am not in the awareness of Spirit, or, in gratitude for the abundance of good surrounding me.” Feeling grateful is a skill we can develop with practice, reaping its rewards along the way.
